I’m not kidding here! This guy walked on water!

He first couldn’t decide whether to leave the HQ or not, walking to the flag pole and back to the HQ a few times, until he finally decided he is truly a miraculous one and took the route over water. My guess? The original game allows walking on water in case pathfinding fails. I’m not sure why it failed… maybe it is the coastal flag pole, maybe it is the swamp, maybe it is the water route… maybe all of those together. In any case it is possible to see your people walking on water and you truly know in this game you are a god!

Later noticed that the walking from and back to HQ was caused by the “take out of store” feature and had nothing to do with this bug. Hadn’t noticed I clicked there. Doesn’t take the water walking bug away though čÖé

I have ever seen the soldiers walking on the water.

Do you want to build buildings on water? čÖé

Yep, also had these problems – I had everytime the feeling, that the same distance when using searoads or normal roads caused that problem if tho normal road had more heights. I encountered that problem often when playing “Tor an Tor”.
Maybe the water was set wrong? wasn’t there water where you could build?

On my screenshot the land is perfectly flat, no height differences. Maybe some of the road directions have a priority over others?

You are right, then I have no idea anmyore. I only know that this only seems to happen if you have theses little boats, if the road is not occupied It doesn’t happens (I tested this about 7 years ago I think^^) But It only happened when there were both, a land way and a water way to the location.

A test case would be to make road & water road to all possible directions and then see which route people use. Kinda many test cases, but putting a HQ to a spot and doing enough water placements around and making goods only go through these joint nodes would tell us something.
